DR.  HILLARY LAWRENCE

DR. PRANATHI LINGAM

Dr. Hillary Lawrence is a board certified pediatric dermatologist who provides personalized care for children and adults.  Dr. Lawrence is one of a few select board certified pediatric dermatologists in the United States and is the only pediatric dermatologist practicing in Oklahoma.

Dr. Lawrence was raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She graduated from Vanderbilt University with a dual major in English and Psychology.  After college she was an AmeriCorps Member serving the Heart of Oklahoma Chapter of the American Red Cross in Norman, Oklahoma, for two years before attending medical school at the University of Oklahoma. She graduated from medical school with distinction in 2004, and was inducted into the AOA Honor Medical Society. Her post-graduate training includes a four year residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, a three year residency in Adult and Pediatric Dermatology at the University of Kansas and a one-year pediatric dermatology fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.  

 

 

After completing her medical training, she worked briefly at Children’s Mercy Hospital before moving back to her home state of Oklahoma.  She worked at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in the Department of Dermatology for three years before opening Spectrum Dermatology in 2016.  Dr. Lawrence remains a voluntary faculty member at the University of Oklahoma, Department of Dermatology.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Lawrence enjoys spending time with her husband, who is also a physician, and three children.

Dr. Pranathi Lingam is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in the diagnosis & treatment of medical dermatology conditions in adolescents and adults. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD). Dr. Lingam is a recipient of the National Psoriasis Foundation research grant and studied new treatments for psoriasis at Northwestern Medicine. Prior to joining Spectrum Dermatology, she was a staff physician at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center specializing in the diagnosis & treatment of skin cancers.  Dr. Lingam grew up in Ohio and graduated with honors from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB) with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.

WHITNEY MASHBURN, PA-C

Whitney Mashburn is a certified Physician Assistant with her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and her Master of Health Science in Physician Associate Studies.  She grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma.  She attended Oklahoma City University for her undergraduate degree and The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center for graduate school.  She is certified through the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Society of Dermatological Physician Assistants (SDPA).

 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and two dogs.  She has worked with Dr. Lawrence since 2015 and loves caring for her patients at Spectrum Dermatology.  

After college, she was awarded a global health scholarship through the American Medical Student Association and spent a year working with doctors and community health workers in India before starting medical school. She received her medical degree from UAB School of Medicine in 2009 and subsequently completed an internal medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Outside of dermatology, Dr. Lingam enjoys reading, nature, travel and exploring national parks with her husband, who is a physician in Oklahoma City.
